Bora Egemen is an Istanbul-based professional who completed his education in communication sciences and refined his visual production skills through international training in areas like 3D animation and 2D compositing. He’s known for his extensive experience in both the advertising and film industries.
Throughout his career, he’s had the opportunity to direct over 300 television commercials for numerous national and international brands. In this process, he didn’t just create striking visuals; his profound storytelling ability, combined with his advertising and marketing experience, allowed him to convey brand messages to target audiences with emotion and impact. His passion for narrative is also evident in his documentary film “Smell,” featured in national festivals, and his feature film script “12 Moods of Love,” which received support from the Turkish Ministry of Culture. His 2018 feature film, “My Son,” reached over 1 million viewers at the box office and gained international exposure, connecting with audiences across America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East. Since 2006, he has also been sharing his insights by lecturing on visual storytelling and directing at various universities.
As of 2025, Bora Egemen is the Co-Founder and a Strategist at Nioo Network, operating as Trustworthy AI and Co-Design Agency. In this pivotal role, he offers a unique strategic perspective by integrating his background in advertising direction and marketing with invaluable insights from neuro-marketing approaches and the tangible returns of advertising campaigns. This deep understanding allows him to leverage the potential of artificial intelligence within the framework of trustworthiness and ethical principles, transforming it into not just creative but also measurable and effective communication strategies for brands.
